"How is 11:30 for lunch with Marcia?" (Outcome of a very sweet conversation with a sweet ex-relative in the family.)
"You should go, but take a nap first. You shouldn't be overtired." (Response to a text message/phone call that I got from my best friend who was having an extremely tough day on her first day home with a newborn.)
"Give me the time." (Dave shaking with anger that my friends Mom deciding that instead of helping her daughter and son-in-law -as promised, she'd complain about watching her dogs and insist on returning them immediately. Despite the fact that her daughter had just had major surgery, had a beautiful but premature newborn at home, and was in such pain that she couldn't speak. Dave wanted to find out exactly when she was returning the dogs so that he could intercept and tell her exactly what value he thought she has a human being.)
"I got a lot done." (Dave spent 3 hours trimming trees while I was gone.)
"Oh you saw it." (Dave placed the most beautiful roses throughout the house. Really gorgeous.)
